Key Accountabilities

• Responsible to communicate with agent/central planning office well in advance to obtain vessel
particulars, bay profile information, and BAPLIE details as per company's standing instructions.
• Create new voyage records within the N4 terminal operating system.
• Perform comprehensive EDI verification; meticulously review EDI data for accuracy, including
elements like vessel name, call sign, and trading partner name. Only upload verified data into the
system prior to vessel berth
• Utilize bay profile information to create accurate vessel drawings and upload them to the N4
system. Ensure complete accuracy before marking containers within the equipment control
system.
• Ensure accurate remarks on crane program regarding OOG, reefer containers.
• Develop a strategic crane assignment plan based on factors such as port destination, container
size, weight, and category, while adhering to established unloading and loading SOPs.
• Review the crane work list and utilize the Quay Commander System to identify and address any
potential conflicts between cranes. Implement corrective measures as needed.
• Create efficient loading plans based on port destination, container size, weight, and category,
considering projections based on COPARN and COPINO data.
• Work closely with the vessel captain(s) to refine the loading plan based on their observations and
adjust accordingly.
• Upon completion of vessel loading, generate EDI and bay profile information for the feeder
operator/MLO.
• Compile comprehensive terminal sailing reports (TSR) to vessel operator for final documentation
purposes.
• Ensure the execution of completion certification process by the operations controller.

Requirement:

-Minimum 5 years of experience in vessel planning/vessel operations/marine logistics or relevant field
-Bachelor’s degree in Port & maritime transportation/ logistic or relevant field Training Certification on terminal/vessel
operations would be an added advantage.
